Man, I'm furious. Went to see 'The Incredibles' again. And what a furiously fun-filled fantastic affair. But the trailers. Oh, the trailers. Since the film was a U, the trailers had to be 'U' themselves. Firstly, I was annoyed at the fact that 'U' means 'for children', which is silly thing itself. What about the classics? Citizen Kane? It's a Wonderful Life? They were 'U'. But what I'm more annoyed about is this overuse of CG.
I'm not blaming Pixar, since they've been at the game for 20 years, so they've done no bandwagon jumping. I mean 'Robots', 'The Polar Express', the dreadful remake of 'The Magic Roundabout' and 'some shitty Zebra film'. All using CG to make a quick buck. What a load of utter shambles. Where's the love? The 2D animation? Only widely accepted in Japan, which is a bastard. Bastard companies need a good bitch slapping.
