Your Face

Once again!

Oh yeah! I did go a gig (of high calibre) on Wednesday, just somehow 'forgot'. The Coral were great. Especially when the lead singer guy (forget name) says: "We've got a special guest for the next song. Here's Ted from Knowsley. Alright, everyone, be nice, he's never been on stage before. Or played the guitar". That song ended up being a 10 minute hard rock mashing. Great stuff, there.

Um, what else...PlayStation2 buggers up. Constantly. Bloody Sony. Making the machine so bad that it is likely to break after a year, and then charging £70 to get it repaired...Sony, you suck. Toes.

Here's you: You're screwed!

Ouch! Ulcerative Colitis hurts. Upon recent bothering to read things, like The Health Section on this website and some random sheet some person left out whilst I was printing work out, I discovered things I didn't know:

-It's NOT IBS, it's worse (damn!)
-I have a 1/20 chance of developing bowel cancer (damn!)
-My career choices are seriously hampered (damn!)
-I could be eligible for disability allowance (success!)

I suppose I should be crying my eyes out at those (a bit), but the joys of Anna prevent that. Or maybe I should be a bit more serious in my approach to things. Ah well. As for the disability allowance, I shouldn't expect that to be too much, for some reason. And my mum is probably already claiming it without me knowing. Curses, I hate being an accusing person cum-thing.

#Earth will become Saturn II#

Ok, motivation, motivation...where are you? You dance in my garden, I bet, then when I try and find you...you've turned into a cat! Or something. There, that's an excuse. That'll be my reason for not doing coursework. It's a good one. Oh, I really can't be bothered, man.

I'm sure there's probably a better way to do the school year, or something. At least I get five weeks off from the 12th of December, since I only thought we were getting three. I've still got work to do during those weeks off. Cock!

Anyway, since it's Christmas...nearly...where's a DVD of 'Captain Star'? Or the second series of 'Rex the Runt'? Little spirit, I tells ya.

Year of the Music

Some songs that have made me happy this year, or another excuse for a musical list:

1) Your Rules - Andrew WK
2) In The Forest - The Coral
3) Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood - Santa Esmeralda
4) The Rooster - Outkast
5) Kimosabe - BT feat. Wildchild
6) Eriatarka - The Mars Volta
7) Hello, My Treacherous Friends - OK Go
8) Golden Retriever - Super Furry Animals
9) Hypersonic - Jane's Addiction
10) Baby, Let's Rock! - Zwan

It's all good. Tad commercial, yes, but good. I'm right.

"Look in the box"

Learn martial art! Must be done! Think of New Year's Resolution now to which I will break! God, I know what my problem is. I can't remember the littlest details of anything. In one ear, out the other. Make up stories in my head when I can't pay attention. Not exactly good for lectures and stuff.

Aaaaaaaagahghag

Unfamania

See? Made up word. Doesn't mean anything. Utterly random. Like this.

Well, no. Some sissy phoned up Radio 1 about 'moments that made you cry', in any form of medium (apparently) and said 'When Link turns into an adult in Zelda: Ocarina of Time'. Ah ha ha ha! Mind, I can't remember any moments that have made me cry. EVER. I have lax memory.

Also had a go at annoying GAME staff for being grumpy about trying to get hold of special Zelda disc thing. Turns out you either have to spend £100 (for a new Gamecube w/ Mario Kart, which is rank) or spend £540 (!) on games racking up stupid Nintendo points for their website. As per usual, Nintendo Europe need a good dick-slap. Bunch of cocks.

#To Live When Others Die...#

Trendy wine bar. Never been to one of those before. Ah, what difference is there, I don't drink. Wait, yes there is. 'The Tea Factory', as it is, have lots of live music on this week. Except with a difference - the playlist consists of some really good underground quality (although I've forgotten any names and stuff, I shall go again). Of course, my stereotyping was bang on - sitting with Anna, I spotted some television-type characters. 'Are they Norwegian? Or Swedish? Or something?' I said, jokingly. They were. An excellent acoustic guitarist lady from Norway was playing, they must have come along for support.

Thursday - Jazz night, whilst Saturday is Hip-hop night...with Breakdancers! I can't possibly miss.

#It's not what you do, it's the way that you do it...AND THAT'S WHAT GETS RESULTS# or something

Work Experience is hard to get, man. Granted, I haven't properly started lookin', but I've only got a month to get this done and dusted. It's good that I'm keeping myself busy with coursework now rather than later, since I didn't like 'doing it all in a week' anyway. Mind, that's what I had been doing since GCSE years; I suppose it's a good start to do it properly. Erm, yeah.

I haven't bought a new album for ages. I did compile a hip-hop CD to make me think I knew hip-hop...but I don't. I know nowt. Here's the CD:

1) Break - Jurassic 5
2) King of Rock - Run DMC
3) Negotiation Limerick File - Beastie Boys
4) Release (Pts 1, 2 and 3) - Blackalicious
5) Join the Dots - Roots Manuva ft. Chali Tuna
6) Amityville - Eminem
7) Criminal Robots - Fingathing
8) Hey Ladies - Beastie Boys
9) Adventures of Flash on the wheels of steel - Grandmaster Flash
10) Napalm Brain/Scatter Brain - DJ Shadow
11) Improvise - Jurassic 5
12) Rock Star - NERD
13) At the Party - Northern State
14) My Adidas - Run DMC
15) Kimosabe - BT ft. Wildchild

Note the amount of repeaters? Shame on me.

I need to get in shape

Which I do. I've become a bloater, frankly. Still no drink, drugs, cigarettes and the like, but I need to get into shape. And, being winter, that's harder. Meh.

Anna tells me her parents bought a new large TV. Large was right. I've never seen a television that size...44 inches! Looked like a pissing radiator from the future! ENORMOUS! Scary! Jealousy involved! And so forth. 44"!

04 November 2003

I don't have a job now. No!

Coincidence? Went to Anna's, had, with her family (aside from her sister) chili. Went home. Dinner? Chili! Weird.

What else am I doing soon? Going to a wedding reception (and possibly discussing future as wrestler - wow! Maybe I'm rushing into this? A pipedream? Whatever, as long I continue with university successfully), seeing Matrix: Revolutions, trying to get a work placement when I can be bothered and getting a job again. I don't know if I can be bothered.

02 November 2003

Yes!

I don't have a job now. Great!

Not good

To dull and write about work? Yeah. But it was too cold, I tell's ya. First four five-and-a-bit hours sucked, because I ran a lot. Then, it was just really cold. I dressed up like a ninja, but eventually, it was too cold to do anything and I had to succumb to putting work clothes back on. Thank god that's the last time I work past 5 at the fair. Well, I do finish on Sunday. Yay!

What else? Seen Kill Bill and Finding Nemo. Kill Bill is better, but I say only 'cause I'm male. They both rock. Go see, pleb.
